The exam preparation and revision sessions we provide for GCSE students use practical demonstrations to help illustrate the material being studied. They are effective at helping the students see the relevance of the topic under study, and also act as a memory trigger, consolidating the theory and strategy learnt in the session.
These demonstrations are not meant to be a comprehensive overview of each topic, but instead a reminder of how seemingly irrelevant equations and facts learnt in the classroom can be applied to the world in which we live.

The small rocket in action
We provide support after the workshop for both teachers and students, suggesting ideas for continuing projects. In this way the interest we develop can be maintained after we have left the school.
